Advice for DIY removals

Doing the removal process yourself isn’t exactly for the faint of heart. But, if don’t have any, or very little, furniture to move to your new destination, it can be an ideal option for you. Moving from a small studio flat, a one bedroom flat or moving as a university student, the DIY approach can be very useful. You can save a bit of money in doing so, hiring up a van and getting some assistance from friends or family to provide a helping hand for moving your belongings onto and out of the van itself during the journey.

Making a Move Less Stressful for You and Your Children

When moving home, you will have many tough chores to face. Staring with planning, you have to take into account every chore, every service, everything you will require, how much support is needed and so on. You will then have to buy an abundance of packing material and then heavy lifting is necessary and it can really take its toll, as boxes and furniture have to be carried in and out homes and vehicles.

The 3 packing mistakes to be avoided

Here you are. It is time for you to move out. This might stir up many feelings at the same time like anxiety, sadness, nostalgia, or maybe you feel happy and excited about it. What is sure is that leaving your current home does not leave you unmoved. Your relatives might be impacted as well, especially if you are going to live far from them. Nevertheless, to achieve a good packing, you have to put your feelings behind and think rationally. This is crucial if you want to have a pleasant start at your new place. For that there are 3 packing mistakes to be avoided by any cost.

Moving Home – Prepare to Pack, Don’t Just Go Ahead and Do It

No one likes packing; that is simply a fact. When it comes to moving house, we tend to put it off as long as possible until we simply have no choice but to get it done. For those of us more prepared for the job, we still like to get it done as quickly as possible and it is only for a rare few that the idea of using this as an exercise in de-cluttering makes itself apparent. But those people are on the right track, because despite how important the packing is, the pre-pack is equally so.

The worst client ever

Or how to avoid crazy clients

We are working in moving houses and apartments in Ireland for more than 5 years, and during these years we had many different clients, picky ones, the ones that don’t care, the ones that always late and not ready for the move, well planed moves, but few weeks ago we had the worst client ever during our long work experience.
So we decided to share this story with you so you could recognize such clients and avoid all possible problems we had.

The best way to move both furniture and people

When moving to a new house in a new city or town, people can get quite sentimental, if not stressed out. It takes time and emotional intelligence to endure the longing for your old,  memory-filled home, but it requires a sound strategy to manage the hassles of relocating to a new house.
